Two of the three live events on the RVTV channels today feature our Jackson County Commissioners as the new Board completes it’s first month of service. The weekly business session will televise live from the Courthouse Auditorium at 9:30am on Channel 14 and will stream live at http://rvtv.sou.edu. Two items on the consent calendar and three items for discussion/deliberation today, no public hearings.
Tonight at 6pm the Commissioners move to RVTV Channel 9 for the new Board’s first appearance on the bi-monthly Ask The Commissioners studio show. Doug Breidenthal will make his first appearance with Don Skundrick and John Rachor to discuss current events in Jackson County. Tom Ersepke from 5 O Clock Marketing Group hosts while Southern Oregon University Digital Media students crew the one hour live event.
There is a new hand on the gavel at Grants Pass City Council meetings this year, although a familiar face. Former Councilor Darin Fowler moved down a few chairs in 2013 to take the helm from Mike Murphy. He will preside over the Grants Pass City Council at their regular bi-weekly meeting tonight at 6pm live on RVTV Channel 21 in Josephine County. There is a public hearing on tonight’s agenda concerning the expansion of the First Community Credit Union Harbeck Road Branch Office. The Council will also take action to appoint a new Councilor to fill the vacant position in Ward 4. If you can’t attend or watch live on Ch. 21 the GP Council meetings are archived on the City website with-in a few days.
