The Jackson County Board of Commissioners and County Budget Committee members will conlcude presentations from department heads today and will begin to deliberate the final outcome of the Budget process this afternoon. Depending on how far they get this afternoon the Committee could re-convene at 9am Friday to finish this years business. Several County departments are looking at eliminating or not filling some positions in the coming fiscal year. 9am and 12:30pm are the start times for the live cablecasts today on RVTV Channel 14. The April 9 and 11 entire Budget process will replay Friday night at 9:30pm and Sunday at 9:15am on Channel 14, which also streams live on the RVTV website. Gary Leaming and the “Moving Ahead with ODOT” crew are back in the studio for tonight’s monthly studio show which will televise live at 6pm on Channel 9 and Grants Pass 21. Tonight Gary welcomes Paige Townsend, Planner for the Rogue Valley Transportation District. She will give a service update and talk about expanding routes.
