New Grants Pass TV Show Focuses on Traffic Safety

GPPDThe City of Grants Pass Police Traffic Team is dedicated to keeping the streets and highways through town safe for all. That not only includes you and other drivers, but bicyclists and pedestrians as well. And there are a number of new distractions for drivers these days, mobile devices distracting drivers are known to cause crashes and injuries. And traffic laws change with each legislative session. In an effort to help drivers navigate safely, the Grants Pass Public Safety Department has developed a new one hour program that focuses on new laws and good driving practices to share the roadway. “Traffic Safety and Laws” will debut on RVTV City of Grants Pass Channel 21 tonight at 5pm, Thursday at 7pm, and Friday at 4pm, and in regular rotation after that. Three live meetings will take place on Jackson County channel 14. The Jackson County Board of Commissioners are led off at 9:30 this morning, and the Board will be back at 1:30pm for a County Land Use Hearing. Later today at 5:30pm the Rogue Valley Transportation District Board will take over the Courthouse Auditorium for their monthly meeting. All three will televise and stream live and be available on the County and RVTV websites on demand by tomorrow.
