No Summer Break at the DMC

ashland-school-districtA Grants Pass City Council workshop and the Ashland School Board June meeting lead off a busy week of live programming on the RVTV Channels this Monday. Four studio shows in three nights will follow from the Digital Media Center this week. School might be out, but production marches on. Thank goodness for our small corps of SOU students who put their dedication to television ahead of summer break. With live coverage of Commencement and the Fourth of July Parade and live studio shows each week there is plenty to work on.

Live studio shows are lined up for Tuesday through Thursday this week with Jackson County in for a rare double on Wednesday. Chief Tim George and the Medford Police Department lead us off Tuesday night at 6pm on Channels 9 & 21 with MPD: Your Police, Our Community. Current cases and topics are discussed with MPD staff in this monthly program. On Wednesday, Jackson County will be the focus as the bi-monthly Jackson County Close Up and Ask the Commissioners programs will be seen live back to back. Close Up leads off at 5pm, with the Commissioners in the usual 6pm live time slot. Medford Mayor Gary Wheeler is back on Thursday night at 6pm with his Mayor’s Conversation.

Jackson County also has two live meetings on Channel 14 Wednesday of this week with the Commissioners at 9:30 and a Land Use hearing at 1:30pm. Thursday at noon the Medford Urban Renewal Board takes it’s turn, with Medford Planning at 5:30pm.

At the DMC, summer fun means keeping our communities connected! Delivered to your television or desktop. To learn more take a look around the rest of the website.
