Oregon’s White House Conference on Aging Series on RVTV

None of us are getting any younger. And those of you in your twenties and thirties, watch out. Fifty will be here before you’ve hardly had time to realize it. As many of us live longer lives, healthy aging practices become more important. You may want to set your DVR for Saturday August 8 from 12:00pm until 2 a.m. RVTV will help you get ahead of the game by televising a five part series from noon to 5pm called “Age Friendly Rogue Valley,” and then from 5pm to 2am we’ll feature a six part series on aging featuring experts from many fields in the state of Oregon.

Oregon’s White House Conference on Aging took place May 20 in Lebanon and mirrored aging conferences held in all 50 states in partnership with the White House Council on Aging. Topics include Retirement Security, Healthy Aging, Elder Justice, and Long Term Services as well as several keynote addresses. The series will replay on RVTV Channel 180 in Jackson County (Mondays at 9pm, Thursdays at 8pm) and RVTV Channel 183GP in Grants Pass and Josephine County (Monday 8pm, Tuesday 8pm.) The series will also stream live from the RVTV website.

Sunday, August 2 tune in from Noon to 8 p.m. and catch the six televised concerts from the Ashland City Band Concert Series 2015 season.
