Planning Department featured on February Medford Forum

Medford developers, businesses, and residents will have more room to call their own in the near future as the Regional Problem Solving process finalizes Urban Growth Boundary additions for Medford and other Jackson County communities. Medford Planning Director Matt Brinkley will join host Joe Brett this Thursday at 6pm on RVTV Charter cable Channel 180 for the monthly Medford Forum television show to discuss the UGB expansion, population growth, and examine key Planning issues facing the City.

Brinkley began his new position January 3, 2017 after serving for three years with the City of Phoenix Planning Department as Planning Director. After an extensive search and three interview rounds Medford found the top candidate to replace Jim Huber just three miles down the road. Brinkley leads a staff of 17 planning employees.

The program airs live on cable and also streams live via the RVTV website. Click here Thursday at 6 for the online stream.

After working for more than a decade on the UGB process the City presented it’s final plan to the Jackson County Planning Commission on February 9, 2017. City Council President Michael Zarosinsky and Vice President Tim Jackle joined Medford Planning staff to make the presentation. You can see that presentation on demand on the RVTV PEG player here.
