SOU Football Championship Documentary TV Premier

The Southern Oregon University football team is back to work to defend it’s first ever national football championship with early morning spring practice activity on the new artificial surface at Raider Stadium. Some of those standouts from the gridiron will be graduating with the 2015 class Saturday. In honor of the big win and the big day, RVTV is hosting the world television premier of “Becoming,” the documentary that chronicles the Raiders drive to the NAIA Championship. “Becoming will be shown at 3pm, 7pm, and 11pm Saturday on RVTV Channels 180 and 183GP on the Charter Cable system. The program will also stream live online on the RVTV PEG Player, during showtimes click here for the live stream.

“Becoming” was produced by Dose of Dopeness Films, a collective headed by Raider football assistant Matt Adkins and former Raider lineman Michael Bryant, in conjunction with the Digital Media Center at SOU. It features extensive footage from the 2015 season and interviews and behind the scenes excerpts of the 4 playoff wins it took over 5 weeks to climb to the top of the small college football world.

The film not only features great football exploits, it also shows off the video production chops of our SOU students and the outstanding collegiate experience at Southern. Award winning players and producers. That’s what it’s all about!
