The Oscar Award Winning Filmmakers of the Next Generation are on display Thusday nights beginning at 10pm on RVTV Channel 9. For several years the 10pm timeslot on Thursdays has been reserved for SOUP TV, for Southern Oregon University Programming. Lectures from faculty and visitors, campus events, and student created projects have been the recipie for the SOUP mix up until now, but with the emergence of the Emerging Media and Digital Art program at SOU, Thursdays at 10pm will now showcase our students. A wide variety of presentations await you. Some of the content will not be suitable for youngers viewers, hence the post 10pm scheduling. Tonight some short projects from Fall 0f 2012 will make up the first half hour, and then over two hours of student films from the 2012 Student Film Festival take us well past midnight. Tune in next week for another run of new projects and short films as we continue to populate the server with the fertile work of our aspiring directors. All the films you see tonight are available to view anytime online at the SOU PEG TV player, dedicated solely to SOU content. Go to http://vp.telvue.com/player?id=T01747 and click on Student Films if you dare!
