Age Friendly Rogue Valley Debuts On RVTV

What do senior citizens in Southern Oregon want? What do they need? Find out now in the debut episode of Age Friendly Rogue Valley, sponsored by AARP Oregon and produced at Rogue Valley Community Television.

With additional support from the Age Friendly Innovation Associates, Rogue Valley Council of Governments (RVCOG), and United Way, Age Friendly Rogue Valley focuses on topics important to older Southern Oregonians including housing, job opportunities, wellness programs, public transportation, public safety, bridging the gap between older and younger generations, and overall livability.

Guests for the first episode include Don Bruland (Executive Council, AARP Oregon), Dave Toler (Director of Senior and Disability Services, RVCOG) and Connie Saldaña (Planner, RVCOG).

Age Friendly Rogue Valley is an hour-long program hosted by Howard Johnson of Age Friendly Innovation Associates, and airing new episodes on the second Thursday of every month starting at 6pm on RVTV channels 9 and 21, as well as streaming live on the RVTV website. The show will replay throughout the month on Channels 9, 14, and 21.
