REAL TV, REAL PEOPLE: Watch RVTV's Government & Public Access archives for authentic local television from Southern Oregon
U.S. Senator Ron Wyden sporting the SOU colors was just one of the many and diverse entries, as usual, at the Ashland 4th of July Parade. “Of the People, By the People” was the theme this year and if you were elsewhere on the morning of the 4th you will have plenty of chances to catch the highlights this weekend as the RVTV Remote Production crew led by Charles Douglas provided live coverage from start to finish. Several replays are scheduled for the upcoming weekend, and if you don’t have Charter cable you can see the replays here on the RVTV website as the channels stream live.
Viewers will have 7 chances in the next three days to catch the unique slice of Americana that is the Ashland 4th Parade. The first takes place this afternoon on Channel 9 with a 2:58pm start time. Channel 9 will also feature the action over the weekend with Saturday and Sunday 12 noon and 6pm replays, and in Josephine County your chance comes Friday at 7pm and Sunday at Noon and 6pm.
Central Point and Eagle Point also celebrated our Nation’s Independence with parades and street fairs, and thousands of area residents crowded in and around the Jackson Co. Expo Thursday night for Red, White, and Boom, one of the largest fireworks displays ever in Southern Oregon. RVTV will have a highlight reel of some of the biggest booms coming your way next week. Stay tuned!
