Five of the six candidates hoping to be elected to the Jackson County Board of Commissioners in November were live in the Medford Council Chambers Wednesday for the first televised election forum of the season. The League of Women Voters of Rogue Valley hosted the forum, which was moderated by Medford Mail Tribune Publisher Gary Nelson. Watch the debate anytime by clicking here. Kevin Talbert and Collen Roberts are vying for Commissioner Position 3, while Curtis Chancler, Rick Dyer, Tonia Moro, and Curt Ankerberg are the candidates for Commissioner Position 1.
Questions ranged from non-partisan positions for the Board of Commissioners to economic development and the recent RPS planning for Urban Growth Boundaries in the region.
