REAL TV, REAL PEOPLE: Watch RVTV's Government & Public Access archives for authentic local television from Southern Oregon
It’s Thursday night on RVTV Channel 9, which means the SOUP makers come out in force at 10pm. That’s when SOUP TV takes over for the night, featuring Southern Oregon University Student Programming. Tonight at 10 the first half hour is all debut material from the Video Production 172 class last fall. Three collaborative class projects will be showcased off the top, and some shorter video pieces make up the next hour. An SOU Distinguished Lecture rounds out the SOUP TV run tonight, with Greg Jones presentation on Grapes and Wine in Southern Oregon.
The Medford City Council had a packed house for the noon meeting today as a controversial construction award bid public hearing took center stage. A new Police facility was at the center of the discussion, and contractors involved in the bid process asked for clarification. The noon meeting will replay at 4:30 pm this afternoon, leading into a late addition to the evening schedule, a live 7pm Council meeting to finish the business left over from the noon session. Both Council sessions will post to the City of Medford website early tomorrow morning.
