City of Eagle Point expands RVTV Network Reach

Starting as a single cable channel serving the City of Ashland in 1990 RVTV has grown to serve 4 cities and Jackson and Josephine Counties. Jackson County and Medford joined in 1995, Josephine County in 2002, and the City of Grants Pass in 2010. For the first time in since 2002 RVTV has added a new municipal partner, The City of Eagle Point, and has expanded it’s reach on Charter Cable to the Upper Rogue area of Jackson County. RVTV Prime (180), Civic (181), and Voices Public Access (182) are now all seen in the city and service area beyond.

Some historical programming about the City, Little Butte Creek, and the Historical Museum is running on the channels now and is available on the RVTV PEG Player. Just click on the links to access the videos anytime. A Brief History of Eagle Point looks back at the first 100 years that built the community. History of Little Butte Creek examines the Harnish Wayside Park and the tributes to families who pioneered the town. And Eagle Point Museum features a talk with the curator about historical treasures there.

And check out the work of some of our most prolific Public Access producers on Voices Channel 182. Public Access programming are shows produced by your friends and neighbors and feature a variety of programming blocks running 24/7, including some great work by Eagle Point and White City residents. Check the program schedules on the home page of our website to learn more about these new offerings for Upper Rogue residents. And remember, if you don’t have Charter Cable, these channels stream live here on the RVTV website.
