“Fingersmith” World Premier Featured in Panel Discussion on RVTV

Along with Shakespeare classics the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland offers outstanding contemporary work as well. The 2015 season features the World Premier of “Fingersmith”, a 19th century Victorian mystery by Alexa Junga, based on the novel by Sarah Waters and Directed by Bill Rauch. The play is a finalist for the Man Booker Prize, and runs through July 9th in the Angus Bowmer Theatre.

The Author, Playwright, and Director sat down with Festival fans for an overview of the OSF production and the writing and adaption that made it all come together. RVTV will premier the Fingersmith Panel at 3pm today on Prime Channel 180 in Jackson County and 183 GP in Josephine County. You can also see it Wednesday at 8pm on Prime and Thursday at 10pm on 183 GP, and the program will play in rotation on those channels between now and July 9.
