A busy day at the Medford City Hall transpired Thursday and RVTV viewers and webwatchers can catch up on a full day of City Council and Urban Renewal activity, as well as learn the latest about the MPD Traffic Team from three meetings and a studio show that took place live yesterday.
The Medford Urban Renewal Agency meeting at 6pm featured a couple of newsworthy items, the Board has acquired the old Dollar GMC lot to be used as additional parking space for RCC/HEC students downtown. And the latest plan put forth by the Medford Parks Commission for the renovation of Hawthorne Park was presented to the Board, a 1.7 million dollar undertaking. The Medford City Council, which is also the MURA Board, had Noon and 7pm meetings on Thursday as well that televised and streamed live and then Thursday night Chief Tim George and the MPD crew were in studio for the monthly edition of MPD: Your Police, Our Community. Supervisor Ben Lytle and Traffic Officer Jason Becker were on hand to talk traffic laws and feature the Traffic Team.
