City of Grants Pass adds to Channel 21 Line Up

Grants Pass CityThe City of Grants Pass has expanded it’s coverage of City Council happenings this month as the Council approved on May 1 a plan to begin televising the weekly Monday Council Workshops that begin at 11:45 each week. Staff reports and other information is examined in these business sessions that help shape policy and decisions. These sessions televise live on Monday mornings and then repeat on Tuesdays 6pm, Wednesdays at 4pm, Thursdays at 8pm, and Saturdays at 3pm. Each week’s session will also be available online at the City website meetings page, posted usually by noon on Tuesday here. The weekly workshops will add to the growing City content on the channel with spring Budget meetings in the cycle and two informational programs completed on Firewise practices and Traffic Safety.

The Ashland City Council is live on Channel 9 tonight at 7pm. Mayor Stromberg will proclaim May as National Historic Preservation Month and the Council will also hear a report from APD on crime in Ashland, the enhanced law enforcement area, and use of force by Ashland police. If you can’t catch the Council live tonight the meeting will post Wednesday on the City website with each agenda item assigned as chapters for your viewing convenience. The city meeting archive is here.
