REAL TV, REAL PEOPLE: Watch RVTV's Government & Public Access archives for authentic local television from Southern Oregon
The City of Grants Pass joined the RVTV family in 2007. The City shared channel 14 with Josephine County for the first four years, televising and replaying bi-weekly Council meetings. In 2011, Grants Pass exercised an option in its Franchise Agreement with Charter Cable and were granted their own Channel on Charter cable 183, which operates in conjunction with RVTV, televising City meetings, studio, and field productions and a blend of other regional programming.
Grants Pass City Council meetings televise the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 6pm, and City Council weekly Workshops are seen live each Monday morning at 11:45am. City Budget Committee meetings televise each spring. RVTV and the City also collaborate on informational programs such as Firewise: Grants Pass and Traffic Safety and Rules. All meetings and studio shows are archived on the City website for viewing anytime.
