The Medford Rogues Baseball Club first ever televised West Coast League baseball game was a winner all the way around. The Rogues got a pair of home runs from Victor Garcia Jr. in his first game with the team to power a 7-3 victory over the visiting Bend Elks. And the RVTV staff and student crew from the Digital Media Center executed the 4 camera production well, with a custom graphics package. The June 9 opener is available on the RVTV PEG Player and will replay over the next four weeks, check schedules here on the website.
Two more Rogues cablecasts are scheduled for this summer, Sunday July 6 and Saturday, August 9. The Rogues are made of up college baseball players on summer leave from colleges across the country and is as close as fans can get to minor league professional baseball as the WCL is a wood bat league.
