REAL TV, REAL PEOPLE: Watch RVTV's Government & Public Access archives for authentic local television from Southern Oregon

Lots of Live RVTV Content this Week

DMCThe dog days of summer are right around the corner but there’s no summer vacation taking place at the Digital Media Center on the SOU Campus. We’re as busy as ever producing content for our government partners and our Public Access Channel 15, and a busy week in the RVTV studio highlights the new programming on tap for this third week of July.

Channel 9 will host the Ashland Parks Commissione monthly meeting tonight at 7pm, and then the studio will crank up for the next three nights. On Tuesday at 6pm Medford Police Chief Tim George is back for another episode of “Your Police, Our Community.” Information on current cases under investigation and monthly features on how MPD works to keep Medford citizens safe will be shown.

On Wednesday, the folks from RHT Enterprises are back in studio for an update on the Rogue Solar project. Rogue Solar is a volunteer-driven community effort, coordinated by the Rogue Valley Council of Governments in partnership with RHT Energy Solutions, and is designed to bring renewable energy to homes or businesses in Jackson and Josephine Counties. Rogue Solar is live on Channel 9 and 21 Grants Pass at 6pm Wednesday.

On Thursday learn about efforts to attract visitors to Medford on the Medford Forum program at 6pm . City Councilor Dick Gordon will host representatives from Travel Medford who will outline the economic benefits of engaging the many visitors to Southern Oregon to spend a day or two in the County seat. Many businesses benefit from robust tourist activity.

RVTV Channel 14 has four live meetings on the line up this week. Wednesday at 9:30 the Jackson Co. Commissioners business meeting takes place, while at 5:30 that night the monthly RVTD Board meeting will televise from the Courthouse. On Thursday two offerings from City Hall, the Medford Urban Renewal Board convenes at Noon, and at 5:30pm the Medford Planning Commission will televise from the Council Chambers.

All of these programs stream live on the RVTV website and are archived for viewing on the City and County websites as well as on the RVTV PEG Player here. Just type the name of the program you want into the search bar and away you go.

See it live on TV or online or catch your information at your convenience with our internet archives. The Digital Media Center, where local programming leads the line-up everyday!
