SOU National Championship Film Premiers in Ashland

The excitement of a National College Football Championship run still is fresh in the minds and hearts of Southern Oregon University students, staff, and alumni. Not all the great work last December was done by the students in pads. Raider assistant coach Matt Adkins and former Raider lineman and video major Michael Bryant teamed up to document the incredible run to number one in a film that will premier this Tuesday and Wednesday at Ashland Street Cinemas.

“Becoming” is the second documentary focusing on SOU Football by Dose of Dopeness Films and fans have three chances to catch in on the big screen this week. Tuesday, March 31 will feature 6:30 and 8:30pm showings, while Wednesday April 1 will have an 8:30pm screening, all at Ashland Street Cinemas. Want a sneak peek of what you’ll see? Check out the trailers: #1 or #2.

Bryant covered an opening round home win over Mid America Nazarene to launch the 2015 NAIA Playoffs, then traveled with the team through blizzard conditions in Helena Montana, the semi-finals in Illinois, and the National Championship win over Marian Indiana in a game played at Daytona Beach Florida.
